Our great Alpine road trip - Lac Léman

The end of the Route des Alpes is Thonon-les-Bains at Lac Léman, also called Lake Geneva. I have spent many summers in this area so we decided to stay around the lake a couple of days as it is a lovely place. Next to Thonon is Évian-les-Bains, knowed for the Évian mineral water.

- Thonon-les-Bains -

We found a charming family owned stay up on the hill from Évian in Thollon were we overnighted. Great view but still close to the plage in vian.

The second day we did a road tour in the morning for some markets. And some sunbathing in the late afternoon.

- Evian-les-Bains -

- The Cachat spring, formerly known as the Saint Catherine Fountain, the most famous of the natural sources in Évian. The spring runs all year at a constant temperature of 11.6°C. Many people stod in line waiting to fill up their bootles of the miracle water and for free -
